Our Story

A Legacy of Service,
Built on Community

Indian Springs Volunteer Fire Department was founded on a simple conviction: in rural eastern North Carolina, help must come from within. What began as a small group of concerned residents has grown into a dedicated team of trained volunteers who serve Seven Springs and the surrounding Beaufort County communities.

Our firefighters give up their evenings, weekends, and holidays so that families can sleep soundly. They respond to calls at all hours — from structure fires and vehicle collisions to medical emergencies and natural disasters — always with professionalism, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the people they serve.
